Frumples and Chickens

I now have FRUMPLES in all 3 nesting boxes so theres no more fighting over which one they will lay in!! Started as a joke and now they actually will fight if I remove FRUMPLES from one and leave in another.. Bizarre. Do they work??? HMMMMMMMMMM -
Chickens are actually pretty simple animals. I don't think they know why they all want to lay in the box with the FRUMPLE????
Any explanations???
